THE ASSORTMENT.
Blog: Toy photography. Mostly mine. Also, whatever else I'm on about.

Me: Name's Luke. I'm in my 20s and live in Arkansas. I used to blog about toys here, and I still blog about old buildings and disappearing stuff here.

Anyone want to make a tag cloud for this one?
(I’ll just name ten that I see: Unicron (Armada); Metroplex (Cybertron); Silverbolt (Universe); Grimlock (Alternators); Rampage (Beast Wars); Ratchet (Animated); Landfill (Robots in Disguise); Ultra Magnus with City Commander Armor; Overcharge (Alternators); Magnaboss II (Beast Wars II))
love-at-4am:

TRANSFORM AND ROLL OUT!
So today I photographed Gabe, a friend of a friend, and most of his collection of Transformers. Final count of those on display and not in box amount to 210ish (we didn’t move ALL that were on display) and there are still many more still in their original packaging. There were some gestalt types too (ones where 5 combine into one huge one) and various multi-parters. If we were to include the boxed along with separating the combined ones it would bring the number much, much higher. Starting to get a hang of photographing large groups of things, spent 4 hours on the whole shoot. Much of the time though was dragged through transporting or arranging the collection. Glad to have Michael though as an assistant. In the future, I would like to photograph the collection as a whole. For now, time constraints limited me to just stick to the necessary shots.
